| Короткий огляд (реферат): | Сучасний підхід до вивчення історії доброчинності передбачає перш за все розширення джерельної бази, з допомогою якої здійснюється дослідницька робота. У даній статті робиться спроба охарактеризувати джерельну базу, яка використовувалася при дослідженні історії благодійної діяльності бессарабських дворян під час військових конфліктів середини ХІХ – початку ХХ ст. Документальну основу дослідження склало широке коло джерел як опублікованих, так і неопублікованих. В історичній літературі з питань дослідження доброчинності нобілітету Бессарабії особливістю джерельної бази залишається її обмеженість архівними матеріалами, що потребувало залучення значного обсягу практично всіх їх видів та вдосконалення аналітичного і синтетичного вивчення останніх. Їх класифікація здійснена на підставі застосування системно- структурного аналізу. Серед опублікованих матеріалів використано документи офіційного діловодства; статистичні і довідкові видання; періодична преса; мемуарна література (щоденники та спогади; епістолярні матеріали). |
| Опис: | The study of the history of the formation of charity in society is one of the relevant areas of the humanities. At the present stage, this phenomenon acquires special significance in the plane of Ukrainian realities. For our state, which is at war, the priority remains the issues of material and financial support of the army, assistance to wounded servicemen, support of the affected population. Today, in order to consciously solve historical problems, we need to analyze the evolution of charity and show the importance of private philanthropy as an element of meeting the social needs of a society involved in hostilities. In the middle of the XIX - beginning of the XX century. There was a time of three large-scale armed conflicts in which the population of the Ukrainian lands, which at that time were part of the Russian Empire, took part: the Eastern (Crimean) War, the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-1878, and the Russo-Japanese War. Military conflicts demonstrated the inability of the state to solve the problems facing the government. The authorities had to repeatedly turn to various segments of the population for help, which at crucial moments directed its activities in the direction of charity. The main benefactors were representatives of the wealthy classes of society, in particular the nobility. The modern approach to the study of the history of charity involves primarily the expansion of the source base through which research is carried out. This article attempts to characterize the source base, which was used in the study of the history of charitable activities of the Bessarabian nobles during the military conflicts of the mid-nineteenth - early twentieth century. The documentary basis of the study was a wide range of sources, both published and unpublished. In the historical literature on the study of the charity of the nobility of Bessarabia, the peculiarity of the source base is its limited archival materials, which required the involvement of a significant amount of almost all their species and improve the analytical and synthetic study of the latter. Their classification is based on the use of system-structural analysis. Among the published materials, official records were used; statistical and reference publications; periodicals; memoirs (diaries and memoirs; epistolary materials). |
