dc.description	The theoretical bases of formation of professional qualities of future sailors in the course of professional training are revealed in the article. It is argued that individual teaching methods of teaching, personal ability to lead the audience, the ability to engage students in the learning process, providing ongoing support and scaffolding, and clearly explaining their future careers should be at the forefront of the teacherʼs personal and professional development. The components of the image are considered, the individual problems, the negative and the positive sides are identified, some ways of forming the positive image of the teacher in this sphere of pedagogical activity are indicated. The main attention is paid to the image of the profession of seafarers at the present stage of our country and abroad. The solution to the problem is seen by the authors in raising the image of the profession of the teacher of higher education, its status in Ukraine. Research and improvement of teaching aids and methods in maritime educational institutions aimed at improving the vocational training of graduates are an urgent problem, the solution of which contributes to a stable increase in the safety of navigation. World competition in terms of the quality of education and the quality of its intellectual resources has brought the quality of marine education to the forefront. The introduction of modern technology in the educational process is one of the key tasks in many countries. The need to match the quality of training of a marine specialist with rapidly developing technologies and new international standards has advanced the concept of continuing education in modern conditions, including the «new» term – the duality of education. Maritime educational institutions and the maritime industry as a whole have an acute question of developing tools that can provide distance education for seafarers, obtaining a certain level of training, including certification training. The purpose of training is traditionally considered as the acquisition by a student of a system of skills and knowledge that is formed according to a specialist’s model, that is, the acquisition of high professionalism generated from an integrated set of specific knowledge from different subject areas and accumulated practical experience. It is proved that for future specialists in maritime transport, the introduction of innovative, forms of training is relevant, which is associated with the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process in marine higher educational institutions.	uk_UA
dc.description.abstract	У статті виявлено теоретичні основи формування професійних якостей майбутніх моряків у процесі фахової підготовки. Стверджується, що провідне значення в особистісно-професійному розвитку педагога мають бути індивідуальні методи навчання викладача, особисті здібності керувати аудиторією, здатність залучати учнів до процесу навчання, надаючи постійну підтримку та риштування, і чітко пояснюючи майбутню карʼєру. Розглядаються складові іміджу, виявляються окремі проблеми, негативні і позитивні сторони, позначаються деякі шляхи формування позитивного іміджу викладача в даній сфері педагогічної діяльності. Основна увага приділяється іміджу професії моряків на сучасному етапі нашої країни та зарубіжжя. Рішення проблеми авторами бачиться в підвищенні іміджу професії викладача вищої школи, його статусу в Україні. Доведено, що для майбутніх фахівців морського транспорту впровадження інноваційних, форм навчання є актуальним, що повʼязано з особливостями організації освітнього процесу в морських вищих навчальних закладах.	uk_UA
