На основі опрацьованих архівних матеріалів та наукових праць висвітлюються етапи становлення та розвитку п'ятидесятницької релігійної течії на території Південної Бессарабії. Частково подані факти діяльності християн євангельської віри (ХЄВ) у містах Одеса та Ізмаїл. Проаналізовано методи та форми діяльності організації у вказаному регіоні. На основі слідчих документів УМДБ, у роботі вперше подано прізвища представників організації п'ятидесятників м. Ізмаїл. На підґрунті архівних матеріалів виявлено причини активізації діяльності п'ятидесятників у питанні про вихід з Союзу євангельських християн-баптистів. Показано спроби заснувати незалежні організації п'ятидесятників в Ізмаїлі в 1940-х роках. З'ясовано, що недостатньо дослідженим залишаються питання реалізації релігійної політики радянської влади на території Південної Бессарабії у 40-50-хх рр. ХХ ст.

Referring to studied archives of Ukrainian Security Service in Odessa Region and other scientific works the article reveals stages of formation and development Pentecostal religious current in the Southern Bessarabia. The work partially reveals certain facts of activities of evangelical Baptist Christians in Odessa and Izmail and outlines motives of generation of underground anti-Soviet religious organizations in the mentioned cities. Methods and forms of activities of the said organization in the region are reviewed. The work reveals stages of negotiations with Pentecostal Baptist organization initiated by Soviet power, which resulted in signing August 24, 1945s. so-called August Agreement. Consequences of union between Pentecostal Baptists and Evangelical Christians Baptists are described. The work reviews clerical contradictions which became aggravated due to ideological and political factors.
Referring to investigation documentation of Ministry of State Security of Ukrainian SSR details of illegal «evangelical» Pentecostal christians sect which operated in Izmail. The work for the first time reveals names of representatives of pentecostal sect: I. Kolesnykov, T. Kitsenko, K. Yeriomenko, T. Kalashnykova, V. Osyka, O. Kreshenko, K. Charoy, O. Shokin.
Study of archives revealed reasons of activation of Pentecostal Baptists‟ efforts to quit the Union of Evangelical Baptists Christians. Attempts are described to found independent Pentecostal organizations in Izmail in 1940s.
The work draws a conclusion that matters of religious policy within the Southern Bessarabia in 1940-1950-es are explored insufficiently.
